It was only 3 weeks into semester 2 and most of us are already getting tired. Homework are few but they requires a lot of time and energy to finish. That is one bad thing about being a design student I suppose.
Last Friday SIDM celebrated Halloween. Some of our seniors (mainly Year 2s) dressed up as spooky characters going around SIDM lecturers' staff room trick-or-treating. Some of the lecturers also got into the mood of dressing themselves up and decorating their staff room to brightening up the Halloween atmosphere. My classmates and I plan to do this as well next year.
The highlight of yesterday was the Digital Media Studies 2 shampoo presentation. The brief was to create a shampoo packaging, optionally we were allow to use mass media as well. Most of us created posters for a start, while some creating PowerPoint presentation. Our group created a blog to promote the shampoo, but the one that caught the most attention was shampoo Janz that is also the only group that created a TV advertisement.
And as usual, for our 3D Modelling & Animation class yesterday night, we learned to build an airplane. We were late for class because of the shampoo presentation and we ended up finishing lesson at 9.45 pm!
