Verner Panton Exhibition

To tell the turth, I did not like the fact the exhibition is held in a room with very dim light. I do not understand why the exhibits have to be placed in the dark. I doubt the light would danage any of the furniture too much and even so, people could always make another copy of the furniture. After all, this exhibition is to showcase a series of ideas, manifested in physical form.

Even so, I can roughly see the colour relationship base on some of the works displayed. What caught the most attention from me is Visiona 2, an unusual environment that words itself are hard to describe. Nearly all hues were used, yet because of its proper placement of all the colors, coupled with its fantasy-like physical shape, it still managed to create visual interest. I must admit it is quiet bold for Verner Panton to use colours so loudly.

I am disappointed that I could not see the exhibits in 'true light', as they would in a normal housing apartment. There are a couple of exhibits that does not bother about the surrounding light - such as the lamps. Overall it was an enjoyable experience although there is not much I can learn when everything is so dark.
